There is no way to understand the Holocaust. It’s impossible to understand destruction on such a large scale. It affected every Jew regardless of age, gender or social role. Families were devastated and the results are felt to this day. But we cannot forget what happened. We cannot forget the tragedy of the Holocaust because it represents yet another chapter in history where an opponent rose to try and destroy the Jewish people. We cannot forget the Holocaust because more enemies will arise, such as Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas and Al Qaeda who seek the destruction of the Jewish people. We must be united in screaming “Never Again”!
