Desbaratan ataque terrorista en la comunidad judía de Beit El

Un palestino de 21 años fue detenido infraganti en un intento de ataque terrorista en el asentamiento de Beit El en Judea y Samaria (Cisjordania).

Cerca de las 11:00 a.m. del sábado, el terrorista, domiciliado en la localidad de Silwad, fue avistado trepando con un cuchillo la valla que rodea la comunidad israelí.

El coordinador de seguridad y el secretario general de la comunidad se apersonaron al lugar y efectuaron un disparo a aire de advertencia mientras el terrorista estaba aún trepado a la valla.

El sospechoso fue derivado al Servicio de Seguridad General (Shabak) y en el interrogatorio les dijo a los investigadores que había planeado perpetrar un ataque terrorista.

Beit El está ubicado al norte de Jerusalén, cerca de Ramallah. Su población es mayoritariamente de tendencia sionista religiosa.
