Según las FDI, los comandos navales de Israel han estado cooperando en los últimos meses con la fuerza aérea israelí para identificar e interceptar ataques enemigos desde el aire.

En imágenes publicadas por las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, un vehículo aéreo no tripulado enemigo es interceptado desde un barco israelí en el Golfo de Eilat.

Las FDI afirman que «los sistemas de defensa naval que están instalados en los buques con misiles constituyen un multiplicador de fuerza significativo para las fuerzas en el campo».
