Palestinians are furious that another Arab country rejected their demands to boycott Israel.

Enraged that more Arab countries are making peace with Israel, Palestinians in Gaza on Friday burned pictures of the leaders of America, Israel, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Hamas leaders were furious after President Trump announced that the Gulf nation of Bahrain would join the UAE at an historic ceremony on September 15 at the White House when those two Arab nations and Israel will formally establish diplomatic relations.

“We have to fight the virus of normalization and block all its paths before it succeeds, to prevent it from spreading,” Hamas spokesman Maher al-Kholy told Reuters.

The Palestinians have tried in vain to block Arab states from signing separate peace treaties with Israel in their bid to continue stonewalling the peace process until all of their demands are met.

In an additional push for peace last week, both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain announced that they were immediately dropping their air boycott of Israel and would now allow flights to and from Tel Aviv to fly through their airspace–a huge time-saver for El Al flights that have until now had to spend hours diverting around Saudi Arabia on routes to the Far East.

Palestinians in Gaza City burned the pictures of the four leaders involved: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nayhan of the UAE, U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu heaped praise on Trump for brokering the deals.

“All of these agreements are made through hard work behind the scenes for years, but they have come to fruition through the important help of our friend the president of the Unite States, President Trump, and I would like to thank him and his team for this important help. A new era – peace for peace.”

Netanyahu will lead an Israeli delegation to Washington for the signing ceremony on Tuesday when the UAE and Bahrain will become the third and fourth Arab countries to establish peace with Israel after Egypt and Jordan.
