Will the US elections fever infect Israel too? A report says Trump is on his way to Israel.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is reportedly working on a campaign in Israel that will target American citizens living in the Jewish state who are eligible to vote via absentee ballot, Israel’s Channel 10 reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, Trump will appoint Israeli campaign staff by this weekend, and will begin working on the campaign in the coming days.

Trump also plans to visit Israel during his presidential campaign against democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

Trump had planned a visit to Israel last December, but subsequently cancelled it.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he does not plan to endorse either presidential candidate.
