Iranian media reported that several bridges in southern Iran were struck, including a bridge linking Bandar Abbas, Kahorstan and Shiraz.

The United States carried out a sixth consecutive night of strikes against Iran on Thursday, hitting dozens of military and logistical targets as reports emerged of attacks on bridges, transportation hubs and other infrastructure across the country.
U.S. Central Command said fighter jets, drones and warships used precision-guided munitions against Iranian coastal surveillance and air defense sites, military logistics infrastructure and maritime capabilities.
CENTCOM said the latest operation concluded at 9:40 p.m. ET and was intended to further degrade Iran’s military capabilities and hold Tehran accountable for recent attacks on commercial shipping.
More than 50,000 U.S. service members are currently operating across the Middle East, the command added, saying American forces remain prepared for further escalation.
Iranian media reported that several bridges in southern Iran were struck, including a bridge linking Bandar Abbas, Kahorstan and Shiraz. The attack reportedly caused power outages in parts of the Kahorstan area.
Additional strikes were reported at an airport in Iranshahr, a railway station in Ahvaz and several rail lines. Heavy attacks were also reported in Bostan, Khuzestan Province.
Tasnim reported that American forces struck a communications tower in Bandar Abbas, the strategic port city near the Strait of Hormuz. Another Iranian report said seven people were injured.
The reported infrastructure strikes came after President Donald Trump warned that Washington could target Iran’s bridges and power plants if Tehran refused to return to negotiations.
“Next week it gets really bad for them,” Trump said earlier this week. “We’re going to knock out all their power plants. We’re going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.”
Trump later said energy facilities would be among the final targets considered by the United States.
“I’ll save the energy targets for last, but ultimately we’ll hit energy targets,” he said.
The United States informed Israel before broadening the campaign, according to Israeli officials.
Jerusalem does not currently expect to become directly involved in the confrontation, with officials assessing that Iran is attempting to avoid opening an additional front against Israel and is concentrating its response on the United States and American interests in the region.
Officials stressed, however, that the assessment could change and that Israel remains prepared for a direct attack.
“We are ready, and if they make that mistake they will pay a heavy price. Let them come,” an Israeli official said.
According to the officials, Israel would likely enter the conflict if Iran attacked Israeli territory or if Washington formally requested Israeli participation. Neither condition has been met.
Iran nevertheless expanded its attacks across the Middle East overnight, with launches reported toward Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, Syria and Oman.
Jordan’s armed forces said they intercepted three Iranian missiles targeting the kingdom. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps separately claimed that it had targeted U.S. fighter jets stationed in Jordan.
Iranian military spokesman Abolfazl Shakarchi warned that further attacks on Iranian infrastructure would trigger retaliation against regional targets.
“If our infrastructure is attacked, all infrastructure in the region will become our target,” he said, while again describing the Strait of Hormuz as a red line for Tehran.
Despite the military escalation, the White House said Iran continues to communicate with Washington and “wants a deal,” while accusing Tehran of violating the recent memorandum of understanding through its attacks on Gulf states.
