On November 13, 2015, several hours before Shabbat the Litman family was on their way to celebrate the upcoming wedding of their daughter.  En route, they were ambushed by terrorists, who opened fire on their vehicle.

The father of the family, Yaakov, was killed and their son, Netanel critically wounded. Netanel, who volunteered at Magen David Adom, managed to muster his last strength and call MDA for help, and instructed the other family members to take cover, before he died of his wounds. This is their story.
