A rural estate said to be over a thousand years old has been found in southern Israel’s Negev.

Archaeological excavations conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority revealed a 1,200-year-old luxurious rural estate, the first of its kind in the Negev.

Not only did the archaeologists uncover the estate but in its courtyard, they found something they didn’t expect!
