Supporters of the Jewish state and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outnumbered a small group of anti-Israel activists who protested the Israeli leader’s visit to London on Monday, where he was warmly welcomed by his British counterpart, Theresa May.
The protesters screamed slogans showing their desire not for a two-state solution, but for the destruction of the Jewish state, such as, “From the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] Sea, Palestine will be free.”
“Israel is the biggest terrorist state in the world,” screamed one demonstrator, comparing Netanyahu to the Ku Klux Klan.
The highlight was a man holding a sign against the “Greater Israel Project,” who, when asked what this project was all about, said he could not recall any facts at the moment, after mumbling some nonsense and saying people could look it up.
