The IDF eliminated Walid Haniyeh, the deputy commander of a Hamas Nukhba company who led a terrorist cell into Israel on Oct. 7 and helped direct the abduction of Israeli civilians.

Walid, a nephew of former Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, had recently been recruiting and training new terrorists before his elimination.
