Israelis from all walks of life descended on the south of the country to listen to quality music, dine on delicious food and celebrate nature.

The annual “Darom Adom” (The Red South) Festival takes place every January and February, and celebrates the appearance of red anemones (known as kalanyot in Hebrew).

Carpets of these beautiful, bright-red flowers cover the Negev desert every spring.

Now in its 11th year, the festival is a testament to the beauty of southern Israel.

Watch this video to see how Israelis celebrate even the seemingly-insignificant blessings life has to offer.
