Standing in front of a residential building that was hit by Hamas rockets, resulting in one death and two injured women, an IDF spokesman stressed that Israel will not tolerate such aggression.

IDF Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, in his update late Tuesday afternoon on the fighting with Hamas and amid speculation regarding an impending ceasefire, stressed that Israel will not tolerate continued aggression aimed at civilians.

Standing in front of a residential building in the southern city of Ashkelon that was hit by Hamas rockets, resulting in one death and two injured women, Conricus affirmed that the IDF will do whatever is necessary to protect innocent civilians.

The next step depends on Hamas, he said.
