More recently, he has been critical of the way President Obama has treated Israel, calling that treatment “disgraceful.” It’s no surprise then, that during this speech he said that it was time for the US to accept once again “the mantle of global leadership” by abandoning “dangerous concessions to Iran and its hostility to Israel.”
