While the Syrian regime kills, maims and destroys the homes of its own people by the hundreds of thousands, wounded Syrians cross the border into Israel, where they receive free medical care.
So which of these two countries is targeted by the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement? Logic would dictate the Syrian government should be boycotted, but anti-Semitism leads to discrimination against the Jewish state instead.
Indeed, BDS activists do not fight for human rights in any non-Jewish state, be it Syria, North Korea, or Iran.
