The holiday of Shavuot commemorates that awesome day 3300 years ago when God gave the Ten Commandments – and the entire Torah – to the Jewish people on Mount Sinai.
If that’s the case, why is Shavuot a “lesser known holiday” with little or no fanfare? Passover and Sukkot last for seven days, why is Shavuot just one?
