Another Pallywood lie, yet again on the part of the Tamimi family, has been exposed regarding the ongoing Palestinian “culture of falsehood and incitement.”

The IDF, slamming the Palestinian “culture of falsehood and incitement,” has exposed yet another lie demonizing Israel that has recently gained momentum on the Palestinian street.

Mohammed Tamimi, 15, of the notorious Tamimi clan in Nabi Saleh in Samaria, incurred a severe head injury in December. His family initially claimed he was shot in the head with a rubber bullet by the IDF. He underwent surgery to remove the bullet, and part of his skull was removed in the process, they said.

His supposed injury by the IDF ignited riots in the town, during which his cousin, Ahed Tamimi, assaulted IDF soldiers in a recorded provocation. Ahed, 17, was arrested shortly afterwards and is now facing charges in a military court.

The head of the IDF’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), Major General Yoav Mordechai, posted on the branch’s Facebook page in Arabic on Monday the truth about the incident, which was confirmed by Mohammed himself.

“Lo and behold, today Tamimi himself admitted to the police and COGAT officials that in December he was injured while riding his bike and was hit by bicycle handlebar during a fall from the bike,” Mordechai wrote.

“The Palestinian culture of falsehoods and incitement is relentless among the Tamimi family,” Mordechai charged.

Mohammed’s supposed injury by the IDF was highlighted by the anti-Israel media as the direct result of Israel’s violent “occupation.” Ha’aretz, for example, an Israeli daily known for taking the Palestinian position, posted the following video:

Records from the boy’s visit to the Istishari Hospital in Ramallah, released by the Tamimi family, contradict Mordechai’s claim. International media is reporting the contradiction as evidence that Mohammed was indeed severely wounded by the IDF bullet, ignoring the fact that the hospital is located in the Palestinian Authority-ruled area, where freedom of expression is suppressed.

The Tamimi family routinely engages in provocations against the IDF. “Pallywood” star Ahed became prominent in 2012 when a video, depicting her raising a fist to IDF soldiers, went viral around the world, making her the darling of the Left. Google lists over 729,000 news stories that mention her.

After December’s incident, Ahed was indicted on two counts of assault and 10 counts of rioting, hindering security forces in the line of duty and incitement to violence. Her mother Nariman and cousin Nur, who participated in the provocation, were also charged with incitement.

Israeli Minister of Defense Avigdor Liberman signed an order in January preventing Bassem Tamimi, Ahed’s father and Mohammed’s uncle, who has been arrested multiple times for rioting and inciting children to commit acts of terror, from traveling abroad. In 2011, Bassem was convicted and jailed when caught organizing the village children to march towards the neighboring Jewish community of Halamish and throw stones.

Ahlam Tamimi, described by the Hamas military wing as the family’s first female recruit, is a first cousin of Bassem and a Nabi Saleh native. Ahlam was a member of the Hamas terrorist cell that carried out the August 2001 bombing of the Sbarro restaurant in Jerusalem, which claimed the lives of 15 victims.
