Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip recently uncovered a disturbing video showing 8-year-old Ela Elyakim, who was kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Nahal Oz along with her 15-year-old sister, Dafna, on October 7th.

In the footage, Elyakim is seen standing in front of a Hamas flag, saying, “I’m 8 years old, and I’m asking Bibi [Benjamin Netanyahu] to free us. I am a captive of Hamas.” A still photo also shows her older sister.

The sisters were freed in a hostage deal in December 2023, after 51 days in captivity. The IDF recently found the bodies of four other hostages during their renewed offensive in Gaza.
