In a world where the routine often overshadows the sacrifices made by those ensuring our safety, it’s crucial to stand in support of the lone soldiers of the IDF.

In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we often take for granted the comfort of returning to a secure home, a place where we can rejuvenate after a day’s toil. Economic security and sustenance are fundamental to maintaining a dignified existence.

Amidst the routines of waking up, going to work, and returning home, there are individuals silently ensuring our safety and well-being.

The IDF comprises such selfless individuals who dedicate their lives to protect the nation, yet it’s disheartening that many of them lack a home and economic security, coming from distressed families or arriving in Israel alone to contribute to the nation’s ongoing struggle.

While on duty, these soldiers are stationed at a base, but during weekends or shifts’ rotation, many of them have nowhere to turn. These brave individuals are left to fend for themselves, wandering between homes and families with an uncomfortable feeling of displacement.

Since the conflict’s inception, numerous lone soldiers have reached out for support. These soldiers, once hosted by families in kibbutzim affected by disasters or in homes vacated due to security concerns, now find themselves without a place to go.

Now more than ever is the time to acknowledge and appreciate their efforts and selfless dedication to the nation. It’s our collective responsibility to provide them with the minimum they deserve – a roof over their heads and economic and nutritional security.
