The Israeli Air Force responded to rocket fire from Gaza late Wednesday night. A terrorist group linked to ISIS vows to continue the rocket attacks.

Palestinian terrorists fired rockets from Gaza at Israel late Wednesday night. One rocket exploded in an open space in Israel, causing no casualties or damage. No sirens were set off.

A Palestinian source reported that a total of four rockets were fired towards Israel, but three exploded inside Gaza.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) responded to the attack by bombing two Hamas terror bases in the Strip.

The last such exchange of fire occurred earlier this month when the IAF attack Hamas targets in response to a rocket fired at Israel, which exploded in an open space, causing no casualties or damage.

The IDF said in a statement that it views Hamas as the sovereign power in Gaza and holds it responsible for all attacks emanating from its territory.

Israeli media reports that a group affiliated with the Islamic State (ISIS) terror organization, the Omar Hadid Brigades, claimed responsibility for the attack.

The organization said Thursday morning it would continue to fire rockets at Israel in order to harm Hamas, which has been waging a local power battle with them in the Strip.
