The endless wave of Palestinian terror continues on Tuesday after a Palestinian stabbed an IDF soldier and was shot dead.

A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and lightly wounded an IDF officer on Tuesday near the Palestinian village of Beit Awa in the Hebron region. The terrorist was shot and killed.

The incident occurred during a violent Palestinian protest at the village. At one point the terrorist approached the IDF unit that was facing the rioters and stabbed the soldier in his hand.

IDF medics administered initial treatment to the victim on site, and he was later taken to a hospital in Be’er Sheva for treatment.

Palestinian sources identified the terrorist as Adi Hashem Mahamad Masalma, 24.

The attack is the latest in a wave of Palestinian violence against Israeli civilians, which began on September 14th, and has been ongoing since.

Israeli casualties include nine murdered and 76 injured in 42 terror attacks in the past month.

The terror attacks include 35 stabbings, four shootings and three vehicular attacks.
