“It is a miracle no one was hurt,” said an Israeli whose home was damaged.

Palestinian terrorists fired a rocket into southern Israel on Wednesday night, damaging a home in Sderot.

“A resident of the house says the rocket struck near some cooking gas canisters,” JNS reported.

“It is a miracle no one was hurt,” the resident told Ynet.

Israel intercepted the rocket, and there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. Israel holds the leaders of the Hamas terror group which rules Gaza, responsible for all such rocket attacks.

While Israel generally retaliates with airstrikes on Hamas military facilities, the terror group fires rockets indiscriminately, killing civilians and damaging homes.

Earlier this week, Israeli fighter jets carried out a series of airstrikes in southern Gaza Strip, targeting a “weapons manufacturing site” for Hamas, the Israeli military said.

Hours before that strike, the leader of the Islamic Jihad terror group, which boasts an arsenal of rockets, had issued cryptic threats to Israeli Jews.

Recent weeks have seen a series of Palestinian attacks inside Israel that killed 14 people. Israel has launched near-daily arrest raids and other military operations to prevent more terror attacks.
