U.S. Republican candidate Donald Trump wants a strong Israel and a new, improved relationship with Jerusalem, one of his main consultants says.

Attorney Donald M. Friedman, one of Trump’s two main advisers on Israel, has known Trump for over 15 years.

According to Friedman, Trump purposely selected an adviser with a deep love for the entire Land of Israel. He knows who is right and who is wrong in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and will not pressure Jerusalem into making concessions in peace negotiations.

Trump wants a strong Israel and will be a good friend, he adds.
